I started my career just as the shift to digital tools began transforming the design industry. After graduating from The College of New Jersey with a degree in graphic design and a minor in illustration, I began working as an in-house designer at a printer manufacturer, creating marketing materials as part of a small internal team and shaping my path as a creative generalist.

As the company's product line evolved to target designers as customers, my role expanded. I developed an educational program around the products and represented the brand at trade shows, where I gave talks and performed live design demos.

While working in that role, I steadily freelanced, partnering with agencies and organizations to support their branding and marketing efforts. Along the way, I’ve added skills in video production, motion graphics, animation, and strategy to my foundation in layout and brand design. I've done work in a broad range of industries, from manufacturing to finance, healthcare to entertainment. I even got to collaborate with Wes Anderson, his studio, and multiple agencies to develop an interactive website for one of his films.

Since 2020, I’ve been an in-house creative at a leading provider of mortgage and real estate services where I lead the visual expression of the brand across channels (you won't see that work here, but we can talk). I worked with internal and external teams to build a video production facility, which I now operate, bringing that capability in-house.

Outside of work, I stay active in the design community. I tutor more than 80 high school students annually through S.A.F.E. – Streets Are For Everyone, a Los Angeles-based street safety organization that sponsors design competitions.

In 2024, I founded the Society of the Sacred Pixel, a community where designers connect to talk shop, share portfolios, and hear from guest speakers. The group has over 300 members, many of whom are students or recent grads looking for their first roles, who the more seasoned designers politely try to convince not to center-align long blocks of text like this one.

When I’m not designing, I play drums in the 90s/2000s cover band Later Skater, watch horror movies, and hang out with my dog Felix.
